Colleges for outdoor type people

I'm looking for a college that has great outdoor activities and a very outdoor focused student body. I love hiking and rock climbing. I would love for the college to be right near a mountain. Academics are very important to me, though. Anything that fits this description?

Colorado College.

Many colleges have great outdoor programs which may be attractive: University of Vermont and St. Lawrence in Canton, NY, should be added to your list.
