What are some colleges that are good for students interested in pharmacy/ pre pharmacy?
Looking for colleges that are good academically but aren't too hard at the same time...

If you knew that that’s what you wanted to do, I’d check out Ohio Northern. They’re recognized as a good pharmaceutical school (at least, according to my friend who attends, whose family is all pharmacists) but you won’t be spending all your time doing homework either. Plus, unlike other schools, you don’t have to apply for the pharmacy program after you’re in college. Once you’re accepted for freshman year, you’re accepted for pharmacy too.

What is your home state?

how much will your parents pay each year?

Virtually any good school is fine for pre-pharm. The req’ts are similar to pre-med or any other pre-health program.

You really should just attend a good affordable school since many students change their minds at some point.

OP. When it comes to becoming a “practicing” pharmacist, nurse, or physician…it really doesn’t matter where you attend. Depending on where you live…try to find the cheapest or cost-efficient pharmacy school (whether it be a state school or community college with special pharmacy programs) in your area or the area you ultimately want to “practice”… good luck.

I heard Northeastern has a direct pharmacy program… Northeastern is a top notch college (maybe not up there with the Ivies, but it’s up pretty high), and I have also heard it’s a laid back school.

Six years… Looks pretty rigourous, but you get a lot of co-ops
