I had RD deadlines of 1/1 and 1/15. I sent in my high school transcripts about a month ago 12/17. One of my schools has received the transcript, but when I check online for my other schools it says that they are missing? What do I do? :O

First check to see whether there’s a statement where you check your application’s status that says how long it usually takes for them to update your information. They’re receiving lots of applications around this time and may still be in the process of filing everything and updating everyone’s application status (remember that most schools have thousands or even tens of thousands of applicants).

If there’s no indication of how long it usually takes or it’s taken longer than it should, call or email admissions to check whether they might still be processing it. If it’s lost, you can just send it again.

Files get lost and other such difficulties occur all the time. Admissions offices are generally quite flexible when it comes to getting all the materials together to complete your file. For example, the ACT scores I sent to Emory didn’t make it into my file, and when I contacted them they got a replacement score report sent to them for free.
