Similar to U.S. News, I suspect the list varies little year to year. The list is simply another data point for prospective students.

Your source - hubpages - is simply incorrect. You’ll find the WSJ ranking referenced here on CC back in threads from 2005. I may very well be wrong, but I am of the belief that it’s never been updated. It was done that one time and hasn’t ever been repeated. In all the times I’ve seen that ranking posted it’s never differed.

@urbanslaughter, agree completely. This feeder list is not relevant; much better to search graduate school lists of where their current students are coming from and view LinkedIn profiles to get a sense of same.
