My first choice is currently Boston University and I was wondering if anyone could give suggestions of other schools I might like. These are some things I am looking for or that I liked about BU. It is a slight reach for me so I would like to find a range of competitiveness with some equally competitive schools and some that are easier to get into.
northeast
urban, still has a real campus and some green
most students live on campus for four years and housing is guaranteed
diverse
D1 hockey (or another sport, but I like the school spirit and sports games being part of student life)
I also wanted to mention the flexibility being the different schools for students to change their major or take classes in other schools. I would appreciate schools suggestions that meet a few or more of these.
Other, more or less urban schools in the NE with D1 hockey teams include:
College of the Holy Cross
Northeastern
Providence College
Syracuse
University of Vermont
Relax some of your criteria and many more possibilities open up.
Minus the hockey, maybe American University in DC.
