Colleges in Boston/surrounding area

I'm starting the process of looking for colleges to attend and I really love Boston so that's the top of my chart as of now. I know of Boston College and University but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get into them. I have a mid-high 90's average (somewhere between 95-97) and have a few ECs, but I'm not sure if that is even enough to get me in. I do have two years before I go off to college so I have time to improve but I'd really start to get a good list going. I am already sure that I want to become a pediatric oncologist so I would be majoring in sciences if that helps, and although I would prefer a mid-large sized college, the size isn't a priority to me. I'm from out of state and would be applying for financial aid/scholarships if that info is needed.

Thank you for any suggestions!

Northeastern University should be included with BU and BC.

Then there is a whole other tier of Boston schools.

Emerson
Simmons
Emmanuel
UMass Boston
Wentworth
etc.

The gold standard US News and World Reports rankings lists the following within the top 50 for National Universities and top 50 LACs within an hour of Boston:

Harvard
MIT
Brandeis
Boston College
Wellesley
Holy Cross

Since you want to go in the Sciences, I would recommend MIT, Northeastern (Co-op Program), and Boston University, all the other schools listed here are Great schools but these three are especially known for their science departments.
