i was wondering how hard it was to get into the state colleges in California, such as: cal state fullerton, cal state long beach, ect... i'm probably going to apply to all the state colleges in cali. also, would it be wise to go to a cal state and then transfer to a UC.. ex: UC Berkely,LA,Riverside,Irvine,Davis,Santa Barbara....blah blah.. i'm probably going to be majoring in business. i also heard that Santa Monica College is a really good community college to go to if you want to transfer into a bigger/known college. My dream is to just enroll and graduate from UCLA, Berkeley, SB or other known UCs.

No do not go to a Cal State. Go to a community college, save money, and you get priority admission.

Also, please remember SMC also has the largest number of UCLA rejects per year 700+. Just go to whatever CC is closest to you...

Best, Cardinal :)
