<p>Duke is surrounded by Duke forest. If you’re at all interested, take a look at the google aerial map of the area. </p>
<p>I saw somebody mention Univ of Wisconsin. The campus is pretty isolated from forests as the city surrounds it and it is located on an isthmus. The arboretum is pretty nice though and it’s not too far away. Also, there are patches of woods around the campus eg. Muir woods and Picnic point.</p>
