If you want dependable hot beach weather why not look at Florida instead of California?

In Florida, look at Rollins, Eckerd, UTampa, FIU, FAU, USF.
Eckerd literally is on a beach.
You also have UNC Wilmington, great beach weather and excellent school (plus, some of the biggest studios outside Hollywood and New York, which means nice possible gigs as a extra).

Florida does seem amazing but I pretty much have to stay at least close to Cali because of family friends in San Diego who can help me out.

I’m not sure you understand distances - anything farther than 4-5 hours away it means it’s a plane ride. I think we listed schools within a 4-5 hour radius already. Your family friends will be able to help you move in but that’s about it. If you plan to go visit them, etc, frequently, you’d need to attend one of the 3 universities already listed (UCSD, SDSU, USD).

He’s right.

Actually, once you’re more than about 90 minutes away from F&F, you’ll rarely see them. Traffic in Calif is a pain in the tush, so people tend to stay in the their counties.

Okay, I guess I don’t need to see them all the time, and I doubt they would either since they don’t know me too well, but they’re the only people I know in the US.

Thanks for the help guys! You’ve helped me find some colleges I didn’t even know about :)

Choose a residential college. Choose one that fits your personality. Get involved, participate in dorm life, go on trips with clubs, etc. Soon, you’ll have many friends. :)

@MYOS1634, that’s my plan! I want to have the best college experience…
