The New School (NYC)?

Thank you everyone for the help! These are all great suggestions!

Some might poo-poo it, and it’s not a woman’s college, but check on Whittier (CA) College. I am very impressed with how they’ve structured their lib ed curriculum and they offer a BSW. Maybe a super-safety to you?

@travelhound97, Bowdoin is not in the middle of nowhere. It’s in Brunswick, Maine (a coastal town of 20,000). It’s 30 minutes from one of Maine’s biggest cities. There’s also an on-campus train that shoots straight to Boston. It has a 14% acceptance rate.

Ha ha! Make that “pooh-pooh.” Me tired.

Drew University, in Madison, NJ, might be possible, also. It’s an easy train ride from NYC, and located in a lively town. Centenary College, in Hackettstown, would be a safe school, but it might be too remote for you.

I agree with the Drew suggestion, and would second (or third) the Simmons, Goucher, Mills and Wheaton (MA) votes.
