Colleges like U Pitt?

I have obviously been looking at colleges and trying to get a specific list. Right now U Pitt is one of my favorite schools, its close (I’m in Upstate NY), its in a city, and it looks like it has pretty good academics and student life. I’m also applying to
U of R
Stony Brook
George Washington
Tulane
Miami
Washington & Jefferson
I guess I was just wondering if there’s any colleges a lot like U Pitt I should look at cause right now its my favorite and just in case I don’t get in I want some more options I guess. Saw some people say Temple and Boston University are kind of similar but wanted to make sure. I also really loved Tulane but with coronavirus I’m worried they’ll go online and I’d rather not have to worry about that. My GPA is 3.8 and SAT is 1370 so I’m pretty average.
(And yes I know most of those schools are reach schools but I have some other safety’s I didn’t feel needed to be listed, also I have a really, really good essay).
PS definitely not against going far away and money isn’t a problem.

Are the schools on your list affordable?Maybe add SUNY Buffalo?

Washington and Jefferson is the total opposite of UPitt.

if you are adventurous consider McGill and University of Toronto. they are not far from you.

I’m not sure but maybe look at University of Cincinnati.

What do you want to study? Do you need financial aid?

In general, I’d say:
SUNY Albany (maybe a safety for you)
University at Buffalo
University of Vermont (small city)
Temple University
Rutgers University (urban environment, even if not a “known” city)
Stevens Institute of Technology (if you going for STEM)
University of Maryland (close to DC)
University of Richmond
Ohio State University

Poli Sci, I don’t need aid, and ty

Ok I’ll check them out ty

I don’t really need aid or anything

If you’re interested in Poli Sci, of my list I’d recommend SUNY Albany because of its location in the state capital and possibility for internships. University of Richmond, as capital of Virginia, for the same reason. Ohio State, in Columbus, capital of Ohio, for same reason. And University of Maryland for proximity to DC. I’d also add:
American University (nice location in D.C.)
University of Wisconsin, Madison (urban, capital of Wisconsin)
