Colleges look at mid-terms?

Well, I didn't do so hot on my mid-terms. Even if I get an A-ish or a B-ish on my report card for a semester total, do you think colleges will look at or consider my mid-term grades?

Umm... Yes.

our quarter grades arent on our transcript. but if yours are, i guess colleges could look at it.

your mid-term grades are on your transcripts?!?! all that's on mine are my semester grades!

all thats on our transcripts is one grade, the final average of the 2 marking periods, midterm and final....so they see just 1 representation for us

Well, when you're applying to colleges senior year, some schools require that you send a mid-year school report, which includes your midterm grades and first semester grades.

But if you're talking about freshman through junior year, I don't think they see midterm grades because those are incorporated into your first semester, and the official transcript only shows all semester or all final grades.

Here the midterm grades are for ED/EA plans, the seventh semester for RD. The midterms are not included in the seventh semester final grades.

They look at semester grades only, but they are partially determined by midterms.
