@lizard The Mississippi beaches are gorgeous.

Not to beat this up, but I’m from Florida and I’ve seen the gulf beaches of Mississippi driving past them on my way to New Orleans; in comparison to the white sand, blue water beaches of Florida, Mississippi’s beaches aren’t gorgeous. Too, nice gulf beaches in Lousiana are nonexistent. Mississippi gulf beaches are at least an hour drive from New Orleans anyway. Still, a day at the beach in Mississippi probably beats a day at work anywhere; I guess gorgeousness is in the eye of the beholder.

When my stepdaughter was being recruited (athletic), the Tulane coach told her that the kids there regularly visited the beaches - so that was why I brought up Tulane in the first place. And I have been there too; so I reacted to your statement “Tulane isn’t near any beaches.”

The CLU Guarantee scholarship allows students who are accepted at certain public schools to attend CLU for the same cost.
Not exactly. There’s been a lot misreported details in the news about this lately. The student government has proposed a change to their constitution, but it will have no effect on the University itself. The student government is a separate entity. CLU’s president actually just [posted a letter about it](Facebook).
