Which colleges don't use the Common App? I saw that there's a 20 college limit on the Common App, and was wondering which colleges didn't use it, so that I can figure out which ones I should keep on my list.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Well only 488 colleges use the common app and there ar about 4500 total colleges and universities, so almost 4,000 don’t use the common app! That’s a lot to list :)

Here is a site that has links to every college. <a href=“Lists of American universities and colleges - Wikipedia”>Lists of American universities and colleges - Wikipedia;

You can compare that to the list of schools that do use the common app.

Rutgers is one…

I think MIT doesn’t either

Correct, MIT does not use the common app.

Georgetown doesnt

@ndhanik: was there a specific college that you wanted to know about?

It would be very helpful if someone with a little time could get a list of, say, the top 250 +/- colleges (from any source) and cross-reference that with the list of 488 colleges that take the Common App, and provide a list of the top 250 colleges that do NOT take the common app.

Anyone? Please?

That’s quite a task. Perhaps you should volunteer.
