Here's a little information for those who always ask how much your undergrad institution matters. I'm not sure how many total are in the analyst class, but those who either are a member of the facebook group or who were invited to join come from the following schools:

Harvard: 2
MIT: 2
Princeton: 2
Columbia: 1
Duke: 1
Penn: 1
Yale: 1

Since there are ~150 BAs, I don't think a sample size of 10 is sufficient. Yes, we are aware that McKinsey likes to take people from top schools...what else is new?

I know of one kid at my school, University of Illinois, who got in. I think he was an engineering & business major.

One incredibly qualified Economics major from UChicago got in too.

Is that a serious comment butcherer? That's not surprising in the least, UChi has the #1 econ program in the country, of course they are going to be represented in banking, consulting, pe, hf. Maybe the reason you don't hear more about them is because they tend to stay in Chicago rather than go to NYC.

I was thinking the same thing.

Qualified Economics major fro UChicago?

He's from UChicago--of course he's qualified!
