Ok, there have been many people telling me that some colleges only look at ACT english and math and the composite, and completely disregard reading and science. At first I was skeptical about this, but after doing some reasearch I found out that some colleges actually do! This is nice because I did well on those sections :)

So, my question is " Which colleges only care about English and Math and Composite? " I would like to know because that would factor into which schools i'll concider applying to.

The only school i know that does this so far in Georgia Tech....

Clarifying your question: there are some schools like Gtech that consider only the math and English score and ignore composite, science, and reading (thus Gtech does not consider your composite). Another like Gtech is Rose-Hulman which uses only math and English and ignores composite, science and reading. For SAT it uses only the CR and math section. Rose-Hulman is also I believe the only college that supersocres the combination of an SAT and ACT test, e.g., if it believes your math ACT score is better than your math SAT and your SAT CR score is better than your ACT English, it will use for admission your math ACT and your CR SAT.

I am unaware of schools that use all three of composite, English and math but ignore the others. However, there are many that consider the math and English sections as the two most important scores even though they also look at composite and other scores. That I believe is true of Michigan.

Thanks for the help drusba! Ok so, Gtech and U Michigan are two confimed schools that only consider the English and Math sections of the ACT. Does any one know of any others??

^The above is not true. Gtech looks at your english, writing, and math. Your writing score is made up of your essay score and english (so in effect, your english score is weighed significantly more). I applied and that’s how they calculated my total.
