colleges only look at your HIGH SCHOOL resume??

do colleges look at what you have done your whole life? or just what you have done in high school?

wouldn't it mean more if you started an activity as a child and kept it throughout?

They don’t look at your scores from before high school, that’s for sure. And they consider mostly the awards won during high school too.

But of course, a passion kept since age 3 is very liked by colleges. And also your background is helpful too, like if you went to 12 different schools in 12 different countries, that’s pretty unique and it’s before high school.

They look at you as a whole.

I included that I had done gymnastics since I was 4. Both my gc and an adcom rep told me I should include it since it was an activity I’m fairly passionate about.

Other than that, no, they couldn’t care less about your middle school record unless you took some classes early like Algebra I (or unless you made it to the national spelling bee in 8th grade or something like that).

high school + anything else significant you mention in your essays or extra info.
