Colleges Requiring One Math/Sci, One Humanities Recommendation

Just based on your own experiences, can you guys help me list what schools need one recommendation from a math/sci teacher and one from a humanities teacher? And what schools just require 2 recommendations from any teacher?

Thanks

chicago requires one from math/sci. and one from humanities teacher :D

ahhh bump, need help :D

big. wang.
MIT needs one from mathsci one from humanities/socsci.

Nassau Community College, Queens Community College, Stony Brook

Harvey Mudd College I think.

MIT requires one from a humanities teacher?! UGH

See, we helped someone already :D

moar moar

i can ride my bike with no handlebars

i had a question about this. my math/sci rec is fine, but i'm actually not on great terms with my junior year humanities teachers. but i could get one from my soph year teacher, or should i get one from a senior year teacher?

anyone wanna contribute? last bump I guess :S

Many of the Common App schools seem to want one from a math/sci and one from a humanities teacher.

Humanities can be English, foreign language, social sciences...

Wellesley asks for one math/sci one humanities.

hiyo: it seems by the nature of your question that you are likely to only obtain what you consider favorable recs from two teachers of one disciple (math/sci or humanities), right?

Are you using this as a determinant factor in CHOOSING colleges? Please say no -- please say that you're looking into your college search with more than this factor...

Regardless, the overwhelming majority 80% of colleges want zero or perhaps a GC rec only.

Haha no, I just need to make sure I ask teachers from both areas if I need to
