Colleges Similar to Embry-Riddle?

I'm trying to find colleges that offer almost exactly the same programs as Embry-Riddle.
I want to major in Aeronautical Engineering, but at the same time I would like to get my pilots license because I am going into the Air Force after college. Embry-Riddle does all ofthat. But I need to have more options in case I don't get accepted.
Does anyone else have the same problem as me? I would appreciate any input.

Thanks.

My son, who is now a senor at ERAU in Prescott, was in the exact same boat. The only schools we could identify three years ago were ERAU, St. Louis University and Arizona State University. We did not visit or consider ASU, because in discussions with admissions reps and the engineering department, they did not recommend a double major. I believe that at both ERAU and St. Louis University, one could major in AE and minor in aviation science or flight science. Of course there is always the Air Force Academy as well.

My son has had a terrific experience at ERAU and never considered any other school.

Ohio State and (I believe) Purdue both offer excellent aerospace engineering departments and aviation programs. Here’s a link to the department sites for OSU.

Florida Institute of Technology

I’m currently applying to schools for AE and I have found colleges with a good program in this area is Purdue, OSU, UC, and U of L.

The previous posts were from over 10 years ago, so I suspect Csibbs isn’t still looking.
