St. Bonaventure in NY, Plymouth in NH, Castleton in VT, St. Micheals in VT, Clarkson in NY
We have visited Scranton in addition to St Joe’s, Loyola, Siena, Stonehill, St Mike’s, St Anselm’s, Assumption and LeMoyne. The last 5 are all in the same conference at the D2 level, while Siena, St Joe’s and Loyola are D1. Scranton is D3. All are good in my opinion and I wouldnt knock any of them. I was very impressed by Scranton. Everyone there seemed to try harder to impress visiting students than any other school we visited. It’s like they know they are at a disadvantage relative to some of their competitors or arent as well known, so they try harder. Their facilities were very impressive. In my opinion they are a D1 school playing D3 sports…I hope they make the jump to D1 because it would do wonders in helping their profile and visibility. In terms of campus I would say Scranton is most similar to St Joe’s, as both campuses are part of the neighborhoods around them, while all the other colleges mentioned have campuses which are self-contained. And I disagree with the OP’s comments about Siena, one of my kids attended and loved it, the facilities were certainly not lacking relative to other schools (his freshman dorm was very roomy with high ceilings and sinks in every room. He was in a very new and comfortable dorm his 2nd and 3rd years and senior year lived in the student townhouse complex, which had beautiful brick facades, reminded me of William and Mary.) Campus was 5 minutes from the airport and in a beautiful upscale neighborhood with every conceivable store and restaurant 10 minutes away on Wolf Road. I’d say its location was overall the best of all the colleges I mentioned here.
LeMoyne?
@CTDadof2 : I am curious about the last sentence of your post. To which school was it referring (the school near Wolf Road) ?

Siena…it’s near one of the largest commercial areas in the Albany/Tri-Cities area, Wolf Road.
