Universities of Arizona, Iowa, Idaho, New Mexico, and Memphis still have space. Some space still available for freshmen at Pitt and Cincinnati. Note that there are separate columns for new students and transfers. Be careful not to confuse them.

Isn’t it more on a needs based or merit based system? I don’t think this is necessarily accurate, Rutgers offers the top 5% of their school-applicants full scholarship (you need top 3% to get a full scholarship in pharmaceutical), yet Rutgers is not available apparently?

Active Waitlist schools are likely NOT taking any new applications. This is a list of school considering a new application TODAY, as in have your GC call up and ask is your intended major, campus, etc. available. Two different things. This is the list for the kids who have miscalculated, late bloomers who had been planning on CC, kids who parents hit the lottery – you get my drift. My GC says the limited may be very limited or not too limited – but it all depends on what your kid wants.
