What are some good colleges that don't factor in gpa for admission a lot? My only weak point is gpa right now(3.76uw), and my Sat scores and ec's are pretty good. I heard that Bowdoin doesn't look at Sat very much but what about gpa? do I still have a shot at school like Brown? thanks for any replies!

why? …

bump 10 char

for top colleges it is low

2230…

Every school weights differently. At my school that means you have about an 87 average not a 94. You still have a shot at Brown but getting into an Ivy is near to impossible even with perfect stats.

Bowdoin is test optional, test optional schools put more emphasis on GPA. I have never heard of a highly selective school that does not expect a very high GPA. Your GPA is high though, apply to some selective schools along with matches and safeties…

Community college.

Look at the Common Data Set of schools, Section C7, to see what weight is used for admission criteria. At this point, for example, U Nebraska weights scores as Very Important and GPA as considered (though class rank is also very important).
