Colleges that don't require recommendations...

This is a thread for those who, like me, don't exactly have teachers who totally love us or who are reluctant to ask for teacher recommendations because we don't have a teacher who we are confident will write stellar letters for us...

Anyways, so far, I've come up with:

Dartmouth
Emory
All the UCs
Carnegie Mellon
U of Michigan: Ann Arbor
College of William and Mary
Georgia Institute of Technology
U of Illinois: Urbana-Champaign
Rensselaer Polytechnic Inst.
U. of Washington
Penn State U.
University of Texas

Feel free to correct me and ADD MORE! ... Preferably tier 1 colleges though...

Actually I think University of Michigan - Ann Arbor do require recommendations.

^ Yep.

Dartmouth requires recommendations as well: [Application Components](http://www.dartmouth.edu/apply/admissions/firstyear/components.html#recs)

As does Carnegie Mellon: [Admission > Admission Requirements](<a href=“Home - Computing Services - Office of the CIO - Carnegie Mellon University”>Home - Computing Services - Office of the CIO - Carnegie Mellon University)

Whoops…sorry…thanks for pointing that out.

Both carnegie mellon and rpi require recommendations. I applied to both this past year, so I can confirm that.

University of Minnesota
