So I took Physics and Lit today and I think I did really really bad. 2 ques:

Am I required to write down my score on the college applications even if it's not good?

Also, if colleges don't require the SAT2's, will it hurt me if I get low scores on them?

Thanks!

I believe that any time your SATs are sent anywhere they will see your SATIIs. However, if a school doesn't require or reccomend them, they probably won't hurt your chances. If you did really bad, albeit really bad is a subjective term, you could take the ACT and not submit SAT scores at all.

You do not "write" down your score anywhere..you pay collegeboard to send you score report (which has every single SAT I/SAT II/ACT that you have ever taken) to the college of your choice. Usually the first 4 schools are free if you remember to send them on the Last sat i/ sat ii you take. Also, in my personal opinion it would seem logically that if a college does not require sat iis but you still wanted to show a higher qualification in taking the test, it would be beneficial whether you received a low score or not...although I am not sure what your "really really bad" means in terms of an actual score..lastly, if you really do feel you did not do well or feel that you could have done much better, then you can retake the tests and cancel these two before this wednesday (colleges won't even know that you took the test on this date if you do this, so it does not hurt).

Sorry, what I meant by 'writing down' the score is the part on the some applications (like the common application) where you fill out your scores by hand.

I guess you wouldn't have to, but it might look wierd that you didn't write it down because they'd see it anyway. Xindianx is wrong about the ACT. Since the College Board doesn't administer that test their score reports don't show it.

oh, sorry about that, I assumed it was the same, I'm not at all familiar with the ACT...
