My gpa is an unweighted 3.73, with no honors but all level 1 classes.

I got a 1860 SAT/28 ACT.----the scores don't match up to my gpa...

Should I submit them to schools that say they don't REQUIRE scores?
Is this like an optional supp essay? I have no idea what I should do. Obviously, my scores are higher/at the average, I'll submit them, but what if they aren't? Don't submit?

Found out about this at about.com. article is Low SAT or ACT Scores? These Colleges Don't Require the Tests.

ABC website also has 27 Top Colleges Don't Require the SAT or ACT

Pleas advise. Thanks!!

For more background/what I'm thinking, Please take a look at this other thread. I'm desperate for advice!! :O

Well, for me, I did not submit my scores to my test-optional school. (Pitzer)
For those schools, it would be better to focus on your writing, interviews, etc.

Here’s a list of test optional schools:

Usually, you’ll have to submit ann essay instead of testing. The schools that stand out to me on this list are:
American University
Bates College
Bowdoin
Colby College
College of the Holy Cross
Connecticut College
Dickinson College
Franklin & Marshall
Gettysburg
Hamilton College (I absolutely LOVE Hamilton. Definitely check it out!)
Middlebury College
Wake Forest University

There are plenty of test optional schools, although your scores wouldn’t be too bad for a lot of them. If your scores are lower than average for any of the test optional schools don’t submit them. Each school has a different requirement as a replacement for the tests, which you will see when you fill out apps. I submitted my scores to all of my schools, but my sister did a few test optional, and the requirement was usually to submit a graded paper.
