William & Mary is one of the top Peace Corp schools, per capita, in the country.

I don’t know why, but I am unable to respond to private messages, so please know that I appreciate the information you sent and apologize for not responding.

Twenty members of the Holy Cross Class of 2009 have joined Teach For America, a program that trains top students to teach in low-income communities. Among small colleges (2,999 or fewer undergraduates), only Barnard College has more graduated seniors (21) committed to Teach For America.

I can’t say anything about other schools but it appears from what I’ve heard that Clemson University students get involved in community service. Just as an example, every year during homecoming, students gather on Bowman Field to build Habitat For Humanity houses and their Habitat For Humanity chapter won the Best Chapter of the year this incoming year. There are also programs such as Alternative Spring Break and a living and learning community for all students devoted to community service.

Willamette has a wonderful program called Take a Break. It is an alternative spring break option. In addition there is a whole section on their website devoted to service learning: [Community Service Learning - Willamette University](Office of Civic Engagement | Willamette University)
