What state are you in?

What is your major?

What is your Math + CR score?

You’d probably have to go pretty low on the ladder to find a full ride. Do you need a full ride? Can your family pay for anything?

A 1774 on the SAT is impossible…

he’s including all 3 sections and the 4 is probably a typo

With a 1770 SAT score, I think the chances of you getting a full ride/almost full ride anywhere are pretty slim. Maybe large scholarships that cover significant portions of tuition.A number of historically black colleges do have scholarships that fit that, though.

Howard gives significant scholarships to people with SAT scores starting from 1170 CR+M. Assuming that CR+M score is somewhere in the 1170-1290 range, which is most likely, you would be eligible for a tuition and fees scholarship there. Hampton University also has a scholarship called Hampton Scholars that is awarded to students who range in a 1200-1290 in the CR+M. It is a 4-year tuition scholarship. If you have an 1100-1190, then the award is a partial tuition scholarship. Fisk University awards full tuition scholarships to students with a 3.5 GPA and about a 1760 or higher on the SAT. Tuskegee University awards a full tuition scholarship to applicats with at least an 1180 (if you have an 1100, it’s only $10,000). Xavier University of Louisiana offers a full tuition, room, and board scholarship to students with an 1170 on the SAT.
