HYMP ARE DREAMS.THEY ARE REALLY UNPREDICTABLE
SO ARE williams and middlebury. also they are not strong in engineering
so i am looking for good colleges in engineering that offer generous fin aid to intl`s and are at the same time target schools or safeties.

If you can pay 20,000 a year then there are lots and lots of colleges that will give you enough aid. 20,000 is a lot of money man. What kind of colleges are you looking into? Most of the top-ranked Liberal Arts colleges will give you enough aid if your stats are good enough.

ajayc, that would be nice :D

Harvey Mudd, Trinity, Swarthmore, Bates, Smith (if you are female)

Forget Cooper Union if you are not currently living in the States.

Lafayette isn't bad with aid as well...

BARIUM, one of my realtives is a green card holder and he has a house in US
can`t i apply to cooperunion using that address.
isn't the address only for mailing purposes or does it determine eligibility??

also does anybody know of schools that provide full tuition scholarships to all students including int'l students like cooper union and olin
or are these two the only ones?

^Berea does

All applicants to The Cooper Union must live in the United States or its possessions or territories and must apply from a domestic address.

Seems like you not only need a domestic mailing address but must live in the States as well, but contact the admission office to be sure.

P.S.: While Cooper does provide all students with a full-tuition scholarship, its recommended budget for international students exceeds $20,000 a year (~23K).

For cooper Union you just need to have a friend or relative living in US. You do not need to live in US

Oberlin is pretty good with the financial aid.

how if i can only afford a maximum of $15,000 per year?
My SAT score wasn't high (1170/1730). And TOEFL 253 (CBT)
Right now i'm attending community college (and i'm pretty sure that i could get high GPA, above 3.5). So, I will be a transfer when I apply.
I will apply for Smith.

Any other college that give lots of fin aid for international transfer student?
FYI, I'm looking for college with good economic / business-finance program.

will u people please stop starting threads about topics for which already so many of other threads exist...just search the international forum and you will find at least 10 threads
