colleges that their alumni can't get into today

just curious to know, which colleges do you think their own alumni wouldn’t be able to get into today?

alumni from what time period? 10 years ago? 20, 30?

oh good reminder. let's say from 15-25 years ago... basically, those who are in the workforce now and are probably doing the hiring decisions.

hypsm. ivies. berkeley, la, northwestern, etc.

NYU? A few ivies..

this is comparing barry bonds to babe ruth. there is so much more to comparison than numbers. back than people didn't have SAT prep courses, the internet, graphing calculators, etc. the cream of the crop 15-25 years ago given the opportunity of today's students would probably still be the cream of the crop.

HYPSMC for sure.

My interviewer for Harvard was middle class, non-athlete class of '70 white male who took a grad total of one AP class. He didn't pass the test.

umm kenyon, actually. They accepted like 55% or more four years ago. Now it's around 35%

Penn for sure...its gained a loooottt of ground over recent years and is waaay more selective.

Definitely Boston College!

UVA is much tougher on NOVA residents now than then...

Any selective school has a fair number of alum who wouldn't get in today going back even just a few years.

I know I couldn't get into Columbia again these days...

duke............................

UPENN, 150 percent sure!!

University of Texas, for sure. ANYONE could get in there 20 years ago. Not so much anymore.

WUSTL 180 percent

This is kind of silly, almost every college in America is much harder to get into than it was twenty five years ago.

USC.....Has become much harder to get into...

Georgetown
