Colleges' thoughts on 2nd retake

What do colleges think of a third SAT-I test (2nd retake)? Is it a pet peeve or do colleges not mind at all? Scores are supposed to be available in a few odd hours and I'm not too thrilled to see them...but who knows... Anyways, any help is appreciated

Most colleges think it's no big deal. More than 3 times sometimes looks a little bit crazy, but as long as you're improving then there's not huge harm in it.

I see...anyone else?

I improved my verbal by ~90 but my math stayed exactly the same. I have about 14 days left to review math...should I retake (3rd SAT)?

If you think you can do better, sure, why not?

14 days until what?

Man i'm retaking either my SATI (5th time) or my SATII (2nd time) this December... Im a bit worried that this will look suspicious, but i'm taking my chances.

Most do not care how many times you take them. A Yale admission officer has mentioned that they question someone who takes tests more than twice. Harvard offers the following answer to taking multiple tests on its site: "We consider a student's best test scores, but it is generally our experience that taking tests more than twice offers diminishing returns."

Interesting....13 days left
