<p>My older sister told me that when colleges look at your application, they look for EC's that stand out. They don't want to see they same old boring thing on everyone's application.</p>
<p>What EC's have you done that really stand out??</p>
<p>Don't worry too much about "Ec's that stand out" because they aren't easy to find/define. It's more important that you show passion to commitment to something, not that you participated in some stragen thing. Usually the desire or interest will lead to opportunities that "stand out".</p>

<p>either you have them or you don't - you can't fake being active!! and getting active your junior year looks shady...</p>
<p>EC's wil NOT get you into a school if your grades wouldn't get you there alone.</p>
