colleges weighing test scores heavily ??

Anyone know of schools which tend to weigh test scores as / more heavily than GPA?

Last I checked U of South Carolina and U of Nebraska weight scores more heavily than grades. The majority of state flagships weight them about the same.

[Lehigh University Admissions Information - CollegeData College Profile](http://www.collegedata.com/cs/data/college/college_pg02_tmpl.jhtml?schoolId=794) indicates that Lehigh’s criteria are (emphasis added):

Very important:
Rigor of secondary school record
Recommendations

Important:
Standardized tests
Essay
Level of applicant’s interest
[etc.]

Considered:
Academic GPA
Class rank

Interview
[etc.]

The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities ranks both test scores and GPA as “very important” (along with academic rigor and class rank). Same for Ohio State and the University of Iowa.

Purdue ranks both test scores and GPA as “very important” along with academic rigor.

Penn State and Michigan State rank test scores and GPA as “very important” with no other factors in this category.

Nebraska is the only Big Ten school to rank test scores as more important than GPA. They rank test scores as “very important” along with class rank; GPA is merely “considered.”
