Colleges where I could get some nice $

Could someone decide what colleges I could get some generous merit scholarships at? I’m from NC. I already applied to Carolina, state, and east carolina and I ruled out uncw, app state, and the other UNC schools (for other reasons).
-Financially, my family isn’t poor, but let’s just assume i’m dependent on merit scholarships and fin aid

Would be nice if the college:
-Is public or private (don’t care about that)
-Urban or suburban
-Co-ed
-Not too big in terms of student body size like Ohio State
-Preferably to the east of the U.S.
-Has a study abroad program (a good one too would be nice)
-Copied this from a different post made by a different person but I also agree with: “I am definitely looking for a well-regarded school with challenging curriculum” (I also wanted to add: not too cut-throat because i’m on the pre-med track)
(can provide more info if needed)

-Asian male, senior, going for a major in Bio

-GPA: (UW 3.65, W 4.3)
-My class rank is pretty low (top 30%), but a strong reason comes from the fact that my class is highly competitive (we’re not highly ranked, although I think our school is the best in our county).
-SAT: 1370 (670 ER&W, 700 M)
-Total APs by graduation: 6 -Current year 3 (Calc AB and BC, Bio)

–ECs
-Volunteering (11,12)
-Band (9-12)
-SkillsUSA (11,12) Officer (12)
-JV Track (11,12)

To get significant merit aid with your stats you would look at USNews colleges ranked below 50.

How much merit money do you need?
If you want full tuition (or better) have a look here:
http://automaticfulltuition.yolasite.com/
(but note that in some cases the application deadlines have passed, or else your scores are a little below the threshold).

If a smaller discount would be enough, consider some of these:
http://competitivefulltuition.yolasite.com/
(but note that some of these schools are more selective than the ones listed above)

In your case, the best cost-management strategy may be to focus on in-state public schools such as the ones you mentioned.

Probably bigger than you want but have a look at FSU - decent ranking and your stats may qualify for the OOS tuition waiver and Freshman scholarship bringing tuition to approx $4100. Also a great med school and I’m sure some programs to give you exposure to it while undergrad.

Elon right there in NC.
