Colleges With Extended Early Action Deadlines // Nov. 15 Deadlines

Are there any out there that have extended their non-binding early action deadline to November 15 or otherwise have a November 15 deadline? I would like to apply to some of these schools.

Thanks!

You’re three days away and now want to apply to some school a stranger is going to suggest? Just so you can see if you get an EA accept? That’s a great formula for wasted money and effort. Just apply RD.

@T26E4 I will be devastated if I get denied to Vanderbilt ED. These are just some schools that I can use to make me feel better in the case that it happens. It’s not a formula for wasted money and effort.

Best of luck – that’s a great choice! That school certainly sent tons of stuff to my kid for ED as well.

I don’t think there are any EA schools with 11/15 deadlines. There may be some ED2 schools. Search for them. But I still think to slam together an app within 3 days at a school that, with time (and for the RD deadline), you might craft a compelling application – just to avoid some possible pain – is a bad idea. Even if you get rejected/deferred at Vandy, take your next steps calmly.

Hoping the best for you from Vandy!

@T26E4 Thank you very much!

University of Colorado Boulder has an EA deadline of Nov. 15.

There actually are lots of schools with EA/ED deadlines on Nov.15. :slight_smile: And if you used CommonApp, these would be easy to do, some have “questions” but no supplement.
Off the top of my head, in no particular order: St Mary’s of CA, Colby-Sawyer, Wheaton (MA), Kalamazoo, Sewanee, Goucher, Wooster, Willamette, Colorado-Boulder, Illinois Wesleyan, DePaul, Eckerd, Hendrix, Marist, Lawrence, Lake forest, UMW, Dickinson, Earlham…

U Chicago extended their EA to Nov. 15.

Fordham extended their EA deadline to Nov. 11.
