<p>What are some colleges with exceptional Spanish/Romance language departments and a high selectivity rate?</p>
<p>Why does it need to be highly selective? Go to community college.</p>
<p>I don’t think for a major like Spanish it really is going to matter that much, it doesn’t seem like a reason to choose one school over another.</p>
<p>There are plenty of LACs known for good language programs. Middlebury tops the list, but Vassar, Grinnell, and Hamilton deserve to be mentioned too.</p>
