Colleges with low GPA transfer reqs

I had almost completed my Finance degree at Cal state fullerton then took two semesters off and now I cant get back in because my GPA is too low and there are more "competitive applicants" according to CSUF. I just want to get the piece of paper and finish the degree.

First, are there any semi respectable schools in Southern Cali with minimal GPA reqs? If not, how about univ of phoenix or one of those types of schools? I just want to finish without spending an arm and a leg. Thanks in advance!

You can try the other less popular CSUs such as Dom. Hills. How low is your GPA? Maybe a better route is to go to community college to bring your GPA back up and then reapply to CSUF. It is not a fast route, but the reality is that it may be the most affordable route.

UPhoenix is not cheap. Also, a CSU degree would likely carry more weight than an online-based college.

You seem to want fast and cheap. Not sure that combo exists right now for your situation.

how low is a low GPA? like a 3.0?

I’m going to be blunt, your best bet would be a private, likely biola, vanguard, azusa… come to mind when we’re dealing with non competitive unis. not sure about soka…

just make sure you haven’t accrued excess units which will probably be your issue…

You can try LMU I dont think they’re to strcit on GPAs but it depends on how low it is.
