Keep in mind that you'll need to replace SAT/ACT scores with something else at most of those schools.

Also, I didn't realize Sarah Lawrence was on the list. There was another school that surprised me, but I can't remember what it was now.

University of Maryland-College Park & University of Texas both require SAT/ACT, I'll bet my dad's Honda Civic on it.

The rest of the school, I wouldn't say need to be considered.

According to FairTest, SAT/ACT scores are only necessary at UT-Austin if you don't meet the minimum GPA and/or rank. UMUC-CP is separate from UMCP.

I just checked UT-Austin and it said all applicants must submit the new SAT I or ACT, optional is sited nowhere .

You may be referring to the top 10% rule ... but that only apply if you are in-state in Texas.

Hmm. Reviewing FairTest's site, it looks like UT-Austin only /considers/ the scores heavily if the minimum qualifications are met. I might e-mail the people at FairTest to ask them to clarify.
