Hello, I'm considering applying as a Communication major and would like to get some recommendations on colleges with a strong Communication major.
Thank you!

Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism and the Newhouse School at Syracuse, as well as University of Missouri have excellent communications programs. Some other schools to consider would be University of Southern California, Boston University, Emerson College, Florida State University, George Washington University, and NYU.

I’d add Penn to the list. Its undergraduate Communication major is administered by its world-renowned Annenberg School for Communication through the College of Arts and Sciences, and is very highly regarded:

Additionally, Penn recently built a brand-new headquarters for the Annenberg Public Policy Center right in the middle of campus, which is home to FactCheck.org among other things, and offers internships to undergrads:

Boston college

Lot’s of different list out there ranking schools, but they are all subjective (and since journalism is subjective…). Try this link:

Good Luck

Of course, Journalism and Communication are separate and distinct academic fields, but the OP is probably aware of that.

At the University of Southern California communications is a major in the USC Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism. Wallis Annenberg has donated $50 million dollars to build a new complex for the school. It is now under construction.

Los Angeles is a huge center for entertainment and communications. You can learn more about the school and the new complex at [USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism](http://www.annenberg.usc.edu) .

Thank you everyone! :)
