Colleges with strong television internship opportunities?

<p>I'm looking for colleges nearby NYC or LA with strong internship opportunities with NBC, FOX, or other major television stations. I'm interested in writing, cinematography and just being on set with either a talk show (think Late Night) or a prime-time drama (Heroes, House, etc.).</p>

<p>For an idea of stats, I don't have much to give you, because I'm a rising Junior.
~3.6 GPA
class rank 156 of 737
second chair string bass - Symphony and Chamber Orchestras (probably first by senior year)
Human Resources Manager for my Speech and Debate Team
bunch of APs and Honors
4 years of German by senior year
I've got awards in Speech and Orchestra and probably strong recs.</p>

<p>My GPA is totally on the rise, and there's still time to boost it. What should I shoot for; what's the average for USC?</p>
