Colleges with very good Writing programs?

I know everyone says getting a degree in Creative Writing is stupid, but I want to work at a publishing company so I don't need a lecture on how dumb my major choice is. I'm a very creative person and would be bored stiff in a more practical degree like Business and I have career options with my selected major. <--Just thought I'd say that now because I've been getting a lot of judgey people telling me I'm wasting my money on other sites.

I want a college with a strong creative writing program.

I have some basic things I look for when thinking about schools so here they are:
-First off, I am not a straight A student. I'm in all APs and honors but I do have issues in math. My GPA is a 3.72, I don't know my most updated SAT scores but my old ones were a 500 for math, a 550 for Critical Reading, and a 580 for Writing. So I think it's safe to say that we can rule out Ivies and other prestigious schools.
-I would really love it if they guy/ girl ratio is fairly even (unless there are more guys). I just generally like to hang out with guys more than girls. I would be in purgatory on an all girls/ mostly girls campus.
-This isn't really a must but I really love New York, California, South Carolina...I could do cities too (New York, Boston, Chicago)

Thank you so much for your help! I tried googling but just kept getting Ivies and seeing as I'm not delusional, I know that'll never happen.

Warren Wilson, Bard College, Kenyon, and Bennington come quickly to mind. Some, if not all, are SAT optional. Not sure about the male/female ratio…

Some ideas in here, you would need to check to see how likely these are for you with your stats:

I would suggest borrowing a copy of the Rugg’s Guide and copying the pages on best colleges for creative writing majors and/or English majors. He breaks down the list into categories based on how selective they are.

You can try this searchable database

You will find some glaring omissions though
