colleges without core curriculums

does anyone else know any other colleges that don't have core requirements so students can entirely pick their own classes? i know amherst and vassar have this policy, but i need more options and some that are cheaper. east coast/mid-atlantic area is preferable.

The plural of "curriculum" is "curricula."

Brown University has no core requirement. You can choose whatever course you want to take. :p

You might look at this thread:

but there aren't really a lot of colleges with absolutely no "core curriculum". They may call it "distribution requirements" or "general education requirements" instead, but very few colleges don't require that you take courses from different areas.

If you really want to picky, no college I know of has more than one core curriculum, so it should actually be "colleges without a core curriculum." But what was the point?

I second Brown. They seem to have something against a core.

thanks for mentioning brown. I don't think it's really in my league, but I'll take it into consideration. what about smaller or cheaper schools, or ones in CA? I haven't really looked at many schools out here beyond the UC system, but my parents are insisting that I do.
