Colleges you can get into with 31 act composite?

My gpa is a 94.16 WEIGHTED :( (101/948 rank -> on the tip of 11%, SO CLOSE FOR THAT 10% :()
i have above decent ec's
i want to go to a business school (top ranked)

which colleges are matches for me? which colleges are reaches for me? and safties?

My son’s U, Wake Forest, has an excellent business school. He got in with a 29 ACT. At the time, I believe that was the midpoint of acceptances.

Other possibilities are Bucknell, Lehigh and U of Richmond.

Good luck!

For reaches, if you happen to be from NY I’d try Cornell, Stern is possible and CMU is worth the shot. For a match Michigan, Indiana for a safety.

So far I’m applying to
Upenn -DREAM
Dartmouth - reach
Cornell-reach
CMU-reach
UVA-high match
Umich-match
NYU-reach stern
Penn State-low match/safety
Boston U-low match
Northeastern-safety?
Binghamton-safety

did i incorrectly state reach, match or safety on any of the above?
also any other colleges i should apply to?

BTW, i really don’t want to go to a liberal arts college or farther south than UVA (i’m from NYC)

I’d say Mich is a high match and UVA is a reach. They are difficult OOS. Penn State should be a safety but the application deadline is today.

Is this for this year or next? I would strongly encourage you to apply ED to Cornell if it’s next. Coming from NYC, IMO it’s your absolute best chance at a top school and ED is the push you need.

Wharton and Dartmouth are HIGHLY unlikely. Unlikely coming from anywhere, but all but impossible coming from NYC which is filled with top and legacy applicants.

anymore???

Not sure if you’re interested in the West Coast, but you might want to take a look at Chapman University. They have an awesome Business program! Excellent need-blind merit-aid also. Good luck!

No west coast besides Stanford :frowning: haha athank you though. Any other colleges PLEASE!?!?
