Which colleges would be matches for me

GPA--4.0 weighted and 3.9 unweighted
ACT----32
3 ap's and 1 honors course junior year
4 ap's senior year
SAT 2's----us history 750-----math level 2 770

2 yrs save darfur club
3 yrs track and field(1 yr. varisty)---will be 4 yrs and 2 yrs next year
6 months literacy tutor
1 yr community service club
8 months volunteer (2 hrs. a week)
1 yr. TAB club

what does everyone think????

you may want to look beyond stats for what colleges would be a match for you. what are your interests, as far as a future major? what do and don’t you want in a school?

Don’t look at the Ivies - Reason: Not taking an Honors class until junior year would not look good on your application.

I would say Top 20 LACs would be a good place to find your reach/high match schools.

About 1,500 four-year colleges in the U.S. - you’ll need to offer a lot more criteria for anyone to help you narrow things down.

my school doesn’t offer honors or ap’s until junior year
and im looking for colleges in california or in the midwest or east coast
whats colleges are a match for me

Can you say more? What are you interested in studying? Size? Social environment?

I can infer a bit from the Darfur club, but you haven’t given us much else…

i want to major in business or marketing

should i be looking at top 50 colleges???
top 30 colleges???
top 20 colleges???
what category do i fit in???

some colleges i was thinking about
michigan univeristy
syracuse university
northwestern university
ucla
university of chicago
penn state
univeristy of north carolina-chapel hill
notre dame
univeristy of washington

im interested in a college with some prestige and nice weather (snow in winter and sun in summer) and in a college with fun and good social environment but academics matter too. the college shouldn’t be in the middle of nowhere.

Notre Dame and UChicago might be out of reach for you.
