i lived in eddygate (2 bedroom) last year. the apartment was really nice. i think it was a little too much money for the size of the apartment (in addition to the constant headache that was my roommate from hell). they are really good about getting someone up in the apartments to fix things and the landlord is easy to work with. he did promise a lot of things for us though (new bathtub) for when we moved in, and then after winter break, and that never happened.

MAKE SURE YOU LOVE YOUR ROOMMATES.

I lived in Collegetown Plaza my senior year and really enjoyed it. The ladies in the renting office are friendly and the maintenance folks are quick to respond to calls. I called the day fall break started because I had a cracked pipe under my sink and the maintenance worker showed up in 10 minutes.

The check-out process was also hassle-free. I received every cent of my security deposit and the leasing company was able to provide me with a rental reference when I was looking at places in NOLA (a huge relief).

Where are you now CU Ambassador11?

right now im in a fabulous apartment in the center of rome, but next semester ill be in 301 eddy

Lucky you! d has a deposit for Eddygate - just wondering why you left!

i left eddygate because i didnt want to sign a full lease in the apartment building when im only in ithaca for one semester this year. i left because i needed to find a sublet for the spring, which just happened to be in another building. i liked eddygate a lot, but it was because of the worst roommate ever that i didnt have a great living experience. i loved the apartment when she wasnt there though! it was very spacious and i loved all of the natural light that came into the apartment. my apartment was expensive, and having parking in the municipal lot made it very pricey. my parents are thankful that next semester’s rent and parking will be significantly cheaper!
