Cologne

What do college girls think of guys that wear cologne? Girls here, personally, what's your take?

no axe ever

i really enjoy armani code

I like a light scent of cologne on guys (depending upon the cologne)…

However I find that most college guys tend to bathe in the stuff.

As long as you don’t make an entire floor or dorm smell like the cologne you should be good.
I happen to really like some Axe scents, but only when it’s really light.

old spice!

mm.

My gf loves both my Armani Code, as well as my Dolce & Gabbana The One. Great stuff.

I love it when guys wear cologne.

My mom sells cologne, so I have quite a stash.

That said, the only benefit cologne provides you with girls is in giving her an excuse to start talking to you (“Oh, what’s your smell?”) or in continuing a conversation (“You smell good!”)

Cologne in itself will not attract a girl.

-Caligula

Cologne is must! I love to get close and sniff! :)

i have never worn cologne a day in my life…

I’m actually somewhat fond of axe IN MODERATION.

I think the thing with colognes is that so many guys wear WAY too much.
Also, I hate Armani Code because my ex wore it.

Axe is cheap and generic. It’s a good idea to invest some money in at least two colognes (one for daytime and one for evenings). Only spray yourself 2 times (3 max). Also, I wouldn’t choose something like Armani code that everyone and their brother wears. I’d look into Burberry, D&G and Hermes.

Axe sucks and smells like hillbilly bug spray. Just spend the money towards a real bottle of cologne. It will last longer.

Personally, I love when guys wear YSL Homme.

I loooovveee Issy Miyake (sp?)

I’ve found Axe to be a pretty good air freshener in the bathroom. It can cover up pretty much any other smell, so instead of getting this butt + flower smell you get with stuff like Glade you get overpowering MANWHORE smell.

My girlfriend now says when she smells a guy wearing Axe it makes her sick. Another nice side effect.

Axe reminds me of the middle school locker rooms, where everyone thought they were so cool, and reeked of that stuff.

Acqua Di Gio

Ralph Lauren Polo, Blue or Black.

To provide a dissenting opinion, I really don’t like cologne. I much prefer the smell of clean laundry and soap. It really turns me off when I can smell someone from more than a foot away, regardless of whether the smell is good or bad. (Though bad is obviously worse.)

Zegna is the best.
