Cologne

The smell of Febreeze turns me on more than any cologne. It just makes you smell so…clean, and like a crisp spring day. I would rather smell a guy doused in Febreeze than some overpowering cologne, although Lacoste does smell nice. :)

What about perfume for women? I like Daisy by Marc Jacobs a lot, and Ralph Lauren.

Definitely my first choice cologne. Code is a good cologne to go along with that since you can’t always wear the same cologne and its just as sexy because of its elusive aroma.

How can Code be overrated? Tell that to the majority of the female popultion dumbass, they love it! (@angelbird).

I’ll probably be sticking to Acqua di Gio and Code for a while, it’s a perfect combination. Polo Romance and Explorer have caught my interest but I’m more convinced with Armani.

Acqua di Gio is good but so overplayed. I’m a fan of Prada (which is a bit more androgynous) and Burberry.

My favorite on guys is Giorgio Armani’s Acqua Di Gio…maybe a little pricey, not sure. I think it’s worth it since it goes a long way. Also, scent is one of the main factors in physical attraction :)

I personally don’t like Axe haha I think it smells almost bitter.

“The smell of Febreeze turns me on more than any cologne. It just makes you smell so…clean, and like a crisp spring day. I would rather smell a guy doused in Febreeze than some overpowering cologne”

Oh HECK YES!!! Now that is irresistible…:D

lol @ axe. i used to wear that stuff in middle school. these days i just use it for masking the weed stench in my car.

Please, please, please, do not douse yourself in any fragrance.
I was on the train yesterday and some guy reeked of cologne, my poor sinuses were being mercilessly tortured and I left the train with a grinding headache.

Two sprays max; nobody wants to smell you that much.

Speaking of, when I used to work in Nordstrom’s Men Fragrance department, I noticed before the start of the morning shift, all of the (male) employees would come to my department, pick up a bottle and…spray their crotch.
It seemed like they all did this.

They either need to bathe or see a doctor.

i knew some kids in high school that would waste a third of a bottle of axe on themselves in the bathroom…literally full minutes of spraying, back then Axe was really hitting hard with their advertising.

i doubt this happens anymore

I don’t understand buying mediocre colognes. Even phenomenal cologne is relatively reasonably priced. I like Armani Code and Escada for men actually has some great colognes.

Curve and Hypnose Homme by Lancome are good cheaper ones. Most colognes by Bvlgari are amazing.

I think they were hoping girls would smell something pleasant (the cologne) and wonder where it came from. Then, expect to sniff around until they realize they’re sniffing the guy’s crotch.

I dunno; just a thought (not that I would do that).

I hate cologne.

I hated AXE

After gym class in HS, everyone would spray themselves with an excessive amount of AXE. The room smelled like a cheap 20 dollar hooker.

lol axe sucks. I remember spraying on axe after going to the gym in first year, then going to physics class and, after sitting down, having a hot chick say to her friends “what smells like ■■■■■?”

I wear acqua di gio although I’m looking for a new cologne. I chose ADG after taking a friend with me to buy it and she picked it. Neither of us knew about its reputation.

Not many people even wear cologne though.

Polo Black. I have received comments left and right from girls on that cologne. GET IT.

Burberry Touch is also really good, tons of comments from that one as well.

do you guys also wear deodorant or just cologne

Has anyone tried Burberry weekend? I got it as a gift and started wearing it, it seems to have a bit of a professional smell but I don’t know. I might wear it for suits and stuff but whatever, what do you guys think of it?

What about individual essential oil mixes? Cooking up a fragrance with cardamom, anise and ground crushed flower petals?

I currently use Armani Code, but I also know a lot of other people who do the same. I think that as long as you don’t stink up the classroom (be it your personal stench or the overdose of cologne) you’re good. Also, as high school as it may sound, one of my favorite fragrances is Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce, but I think they may have stopped making it.

I currently rotate between Code, Hugo Boss “Hugo” (my current fave), and Bvlgari Aqua. All three are great, but in moderation (“Hugo” especially can be overpowering if you use more than 1-2 sprays)
