Are there any good color printing services around here? The student center charges 50 cents per copy. Not sure if that's a good price or not since I only print in b/w...

$0.50/page sounds about average. The color requires four cartridges of toner as opposed to one, and the machine itself is more expensive and draws significantly more electricity.

So, expect it to cost a little more than four times the amount of B&W.

Free printing at OCF. Got to make an account and wait a week though

It’s not color though. Free b/w I already have an account for them.

I think it is best to buy your own printer. Printers these days are not expensive at all and it is having a printer is good for both short-run and long-run. It will also save your butt at least twice while in college.

Just research the models beforehand and pick the one that doesn’t have high replacement ink cost.

^HP is pretty decent - you can get the low end ones pretty cheap, since tons of people have them/sell them (or maybe just the ones I know hahaha), and the ink is ~$20-30 to replace.

You can even get a color laser for under $100 these days. The printed results won’t be really good, but they’ll be acceptable. The main advantage is reliability and not really having to worry about replacing “ink”

ask a haas kid for their log-in credentials. #color printing for days

Oh cmon Haas students get free color printing too -__-?! :(! Envyy… lol!

Anyways, I already have a color printer at home so I don’t want to buy another one… I’ll probably bring it up with me after Thanksgiving. Just want to know some good printing place to print now now ha.

perhaps the public library? idk though
