What are your thoughts?

I consider it an unsung gem. It is an awesome school in an ideal location (in my opinion). The kids are smart and have a great time. SO much to do outdoors-wise. Unique block schedule (one course at a time), which means you better not get behind. It's intense, but lets you really focus on each course.

weird that nobody else knows that much about a top 30 college. Seems like it is really obscure when juxtaposed to schools of similiar quality.

The block schedule is not for everyone. Some kids feel that it would be difficult to study a language, for example, if you only take one course at a time - you might have 3 1/2 weeks without practice. Or to study dance - you need to dance most of the time to keep the body conditioned and the "muscle memory" intact.

Colorado College is an excellent school for those who like the block scheduling.
