Curently I got my transfer admission to Colorado School of Mines for this coming spring. But as of right now I am studying at Purdue and majoring in Chemical Engineering. I am wondering if I should just stay at Purdue or move back instate and go to Mines? I am not too sure how strong Mines is compared to Purdue - or if that would be a good move....Any help please

You have had the college experience in a different area of the country. You can easily return to your home state to save money. Research the courses available and required at both schools in your major. Find out where grads get jobs. Check on the rankings in your major. Decide where you would rather spend the next few years. None of us can make your decision for you. It can be hardest to decide when two choices are fairly equal. Good luck.

Mines is a strong school. It is smaller and more geeky - that could be a pro or a con. Often engineering courses transfer, but you’ll need to check into that. Is the transfer purely for financial reasons?
