So I narrowed down my choices to Colorado State or Penn State....Im looking for a college that offers small classes and strong liberal arts. Please someone help...what do you guys think????

I’m all for CSU, I’m going up there next fall for engineering. Can’t speak much on lib arts but both school will have some large lecture classes but PSU is so much bigger I would guess CSUs class would in general be smaller. One professor I met said, it doesn’t matter how many kids are in the room you can make it a small class by sitting in front. But CSUs great for the college life, good climate, very outdoorsy, and the city of ft. Collins is very campus friendly. I would go with CSU but I’m very biased because I’m going there :)

well i cant say much for penn state but i spent a week at csu once for an academic competition and i loved bothe the college and the surrounding town.

I had a similar dilemma, CSU, Northeastern, and Penn State Ultimately I decided on CSU simply because it’s financially much more realistic, it’s got more options as far as a nearby city (Denver) and I just like the small community feeling more. So, I may be pretty bias buttttttt…GO RAMS! And I hope to see both of you guys next year ;)

Oh, and I’m a pre-law/liberal arts major and from what I know, Colorado does an excellent job supporting the liberal arts education and community.

When I think of small classes and strong liberal arts, I don’t think of CSU or PennState.
They are both great schools but there are far better if those are the two key elements you’re looking for in a University.
